The discussion over which Christmas movie is the best can always get a little heated. Thank God we have people who get paid to figure this stuff out for us.

A recent study sought to figure out once and for all which Christmas movie is the most beloved, and even broke it down by state. Their findings make me proud to be living in Texas.

According to the study done by House Method, Texas' favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story and I couldn't be happier. It is my personal favorite. You can find the study by following THIS LINK.

Every year I turn my TV over to the 24 hour marathon and let it sit. No one is allowed to change the channel.

A Christmas Story is by far the most loved across all 50 states. Elf came in second place.

A few states listed Die Hard as their favorite holiday movie. Oddly enough, Miracle On 34th Street and It's A Wonderful Life barely showed up at all.

The only thing that confuses me about this, is how many people yelled "Easter Bunny" at me during the Electric Light Parade. I was standing next to a leg lamp, wearing the iconic pink bunny pajamas.

If A Christmas Story is our favorite, how did so many people miss it at the parade?

If your kids don't know who Ralphie is, don't know how to pronounce fra-gee-lay, don't drink their Ovaltine, and don't sing "fah rah rah rah rah"...then oh fudge, you have some homework.
