First, The Amarillo Botanical Gardens will be having their Pumpkin Fest this upcoming Saturday. There's a lot of activities for kids planned, including pumpkin painting. There's also carnival games, goodie bags, and lunch. You can find out more by following this link to the Facebook event page..
Also coming up this Saturday, Gee Family Farm & Sweet Corn will be having their opening weekend for Gee Family's Fall Daze. This event is pretty interesting, as the kids will get to tour the farm, see the animals, and there's the 9 acre Corn Maze and Fairy Tale Trail. They'll be having Fall Daze every Saturday in October. Follow this link for more info on the Facebook event page.
My kids love this time of year because of all of the events taking place. It seems like October is one big farm-filled lead up to Halloween.
I'm glad to see events like these happening. I've talked frequently about how nervous I was that there would be nothing this fall thanks to restrictions due to Covid-19. I'm excited to be able to get the kids out of the house for a little bit, even if that means we have to wear a mask and keep up with social distancing while we do it.
