Being someone in Amarillo who delivers for DoorDash on occasion, this is the first time I have seen a story like this. Now that I think about it I am surprised that it doesn't happen more. Then I wonder how it happens in the first place. So many thoughts flood my brain.

It seems that a local business was hacked through DoorDash and can't get everything done to access their account through DoorDash at this moment. So what does that mean for everyone?

How the Hack Happened

If you are looking for some great food from Class 1 Barbeque, I suggest not ordering through DoorDash. In fact, we beg you not to order that way. The hackers changed their account and banking information.

If you order, you will be charged. The hackers will get the money, but you will never get your food because the order is not making it to Class 1 Barbeque. They have been trying to get it fixed, but as of yet, they have been unsuccessful.

Why Ordering Through DoorDash Is Risky Right Now

You would think that DoorDash would just turn off its account and keep people safe from ordering and being scammed. That assumption would be wrong.  I guess DoorDash is still making money off of this, so maybe that is why. It doesn't make sense to me.

What Class 1 Barbeque Wants You to Do Instead

From their post on Facebook:

We still do not have access to our merchant account login, tablet merchant login info (for orders and confirming orders), and receive payments for orders placed.
The hacking incident is being investigated, and we are having to prove our validity to gain back access and receive order payments to our account.
If you’d like to place an order via cell phone, please call 806-910-8640 or come see us at 2963 Blackburn Street
****DoorDash is not communicating to customers that they have been hacked****
So be warned. For now, don't DoorDash Class 1 Barbeque. Either call to place an order or go visit them. Keep your money safe. Hopefully, they can get this all straightened out soon.
