A Georgia judge is taking a lot of 'heat' today after he pulled his pistol out in court in an attempt to drive a point to a sexual assault victim.

Lumpkin County Superior Court Judge David Barrett said he wasn't angry, but trying to make a rhetorical point by pulling his gun in the courtroom.

The judge was presiding over a rape and aggrivated assault case in which a woman was accusing Scott Sugarman who just happened to be a former Sheriff Deputy.

When she took the stand, after some of her statement, Judge Barrett told her that she was "killing her case" and pulled out his gun pretending to hand it to her.

He then said "you might as well shoot your lawyer".
