Helping Out Kids Will Make You Feel Warm and Fuzzy

Your Amarillo Area CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is seeking volunteers who are interested in becoming advocates for children who are currently transitioning within the CPS, Court and/or Foster Care systems.

There are volunteer opportunities to fill a critical need within our community to assist in the process of being an active “voice” for a child. Qualifications and requirements include but are not limited to:

- Must  be at least 21 years of age

- Must attend at least 30 hours of initial volunteer training sessions along with a minimum of 12 additional In-Service training hours per year

- Must have three character references

- Must pass a background check and TDPRS records check
