Human Smugglers Drop 2 Toddlers Over 14-Foot Border Fence

Members of the U.S. Border Patrol are keeping their eyes out for 2 men who dropped 2 toddlers over a 14-foot barrier fence on Tuesday, March 30.

The Border Patrol caught the act on surveillance cameras and were able to rescue the toddlers from the harsh desert environment soon after they were dropped.

The 3-year-old and 5-year-old are believed to be sisters from Ecuador and were abandoned after being dropped over the fence by 2 unidentified men.

The girls were evaluated at a hospital before being released into a temporary holding facility. Their fate remains unclear as the border crisis only continues to escalate.

El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria Chavez called the men “. . . ruthless human smugglers,” and said they are working with partners in Mexico to try and identify them.

Meanwhile, Left-leaning news outlets and members of Congress continue to downplay the border crisis and Right-leaning news outlets are only turning up the spotlight.

Last week, Senator Ted Cruz visited the border and met with Border Patrol agents to try and gain a better understanding of what the border crisis looks like.

Cruz accompanied agents on a midnight patrol that week and said he witnessed inhumane living conditions with migrant holding facilities far above capacity with no end to the surge in sight.

Democrats are calling Republicans hypocrites for bringing so much attention to the border now when similar conditions existed during the Trump administration.

Republicans, in turn, are criticizing Democrats for seemingly turning a blind eye to the U.S. Mexico border to save face for the Biden administration which they believe has made the crisis worse than it ever was under President Trump.
