Imagine the money making opportunities with me for a second. If sports betting gets legalized (I know. It's a long shot), that will mean we'll be needing more to bet on.

Why should we stop at the big sports like baseball, basketball, hockey, and football? We have ESports teams in Texas that would probably love a slice of the action.

Yet, I think we can come up with even more entertaining options.

After stumbling across SlapFight Championship, I decided to do some digging.

It appears that there isn't anyone really doing the slap competitions in the US as they are in other places. SlapFight Championship is trying to get there.

We should start a league in Texas. Hit the State Fair (pun not intended), open for the various Pro Wrestling outfits in the state, and set up while people are tailgating (when that becomes a thing again).

One could argue that we would need a singular place to host it at. The Big Texan already has the 72 oz steak that they're famous for, plus the outdoor venue. Why not slapcompetitions too?

Maybe this would be someone's opportunity to put themselves on the map. Be that wild restaurant that has the infamous slap competition every Saturday, or Sunday after church.

The more videos of this I watch, the more I will argue on the behalf of slap competitions. There's not a lot to set up. Not a lot of rules. You won't need to hire a whole bunch of people to make it happen.

Sounds like a hit to me.
