We all have fond memories of spending time playing on inflatables. There's an incredible variety of bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, and other inflatable attractions and they all have provided us all with hours of fun. In November, Amarillo, Texas is going to be home to an entire festival devoted to the inflatables we love so much.

An Entire Festival Devoted To Inflatables In Amarillo, Texas

I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It's such a phenomenal idea, I can't believe this isn't something I've heard more about. It's a festival full of inflatable games and attractions. My inner child is screaming.

Amarillo Parks and Rec will be hosting Inflatable Fest in November. There will be all of the inflatables that you would expect. Bounce houses. Slides. The kids are going to love this. The festival will be held on:

  • November 9, 2024
  • 1 PM - 6 PM
  • Open to all
  • Sensory Play for children with special needs from 10 AM - 12 PM
  • Warford Activity Center

Affordable Family Fun In November At Inflatable Fest

Finding something to do with the family that won't break the bank seems to be getting harder to do. Looking at how much it costs to attend Inflatable Fest, I was surprised at how affordable it is. You can get an afternoon's worth of entertainment for the family, and it won't wreck your wallet.

Tickets for the fest are $5 per person or $20 per family. That means if you have a large family you'll be saving some money. The best part is you don't have to register. You just pay at the gate.

Considering the fest lasts for five hours, it's a pretty decent bargain. I don't know of many other family outings that you can get out of paying only $20 for the whole family. I think this is a great idea. You can get more info on Amarillo Parks and Recreation's Facebook page.

Amarillo Landmarks: Negative Yelp Reviews

Yelp can be a strange and angry place. That's what I found out recently when I decided to sort the reviews by "lowest rating" first.

I was okay with the people upset over bad service and what not. But I came across a few reviews that, for lack of a better word, left me speechless in their scathing negative reviews on some of Amarillo's most iconic places. Prepare your self for plenty of head shaking and "I dunno" shrugs.
