There are several ways this month that you can get involved and help out those who need it in Amarillo. One way allows you to help out the community, and get some family entertainment in the process. It's the annual Cinergy Thanksgiving Food Drive.

The Annual Cinergy Thanksgiving Food Drive In Amarillo, Texas

Once again, Cinergy Entertainment in Amarillo wants to give back to the community by hosting its annual Thanksgiving food drive. In exchange for your donation, you'll get some family-friendly entertainment. You have until November 21 to get involved.

Here's how it works. Before November 21, you take in four 12 oz cans of food to Cinergy Entertainment. For your donation, you'll receive a $10 game card you can use to play everything from Skee-Ball and pinball to immersive VR experiences, or you'll receive a small popcorn.

Veterans Honored At Cinergy Entertainment In Amarillo, Texas

Also this month, Cinergy is honoring veterans for Veterans Day with several days of specials. Starting on November 8 and going through November 14, Cinergy will be offering a special Veterans Day Combo. The combo is two large fountain drinks and a large popcorn, and a portion of the sale will be donated to Folds of Honor supporting scholarships for families of fallen or disabled service members.
