You'll be able redeem the smiles for a whole lot more than just free drinks now.

What Can I Redeem My Smiles For

For the first time ever, you'll be able to turn those points...ahem, smiles...into things such as free food, add-ons to your drink, drink modifiers such as cold foam, extra shots of espresso, and even cans of Red Bull.

In the past, you just racked up points for a free drink, so being able to utilize these smiles differently and for more options, you'll find yourself trying to rack up as many as you can.

Now this is one of the best parts of the new program. Sure, we love the flexibility of being able to use them on a lot of different things, but the new and improved system will allow you to rack up smiles faster and get more free items.

For every $1 you spend, you'll obtain 5 smiles if you order and pay for your drink through the Scooters app. So your drink cost you $5? Well, you just racked up 25 smiles. Don't want to use the app? No worries, you'll snag 3 smiles for every $1 spent by ordering in store or through the drive-thru.

No! If you've got free drinks or anything sitting in your account, you'll get to keep those. They don't want to take anything away, they're trying to give you more, so don't panic.
