Sod Poodles Release 2027 Home Schedule With Exciting Matchups
We've still got over a month left in the Amarillo Sod Poodles 2026 season, and they're trying hard to chase down a second-half championship to slide into the playoffs. As of the writing of this article, the Soddies are sitting in a tie for first place.
However, even as the chase is on for this season, we're already looking ahead to next season. Why? Because the Sod Poodles just released their home schedule for 2027, and there are some really fun matchups on the calendar for next season.
4th Of July Is At Home
There will be 12 total homestands for fans to attend in 2027, and they'll have their usual series against all the Texas League South opponents. The only one they won't play twice in the season is the Midland RockHounds, who will only come to Amarillo once. So you, Athletics fans, will need to grab your tickets to see your prospects.
One major highlight on the schedule is that the Sod Poodles will be at HODGETOWN for the 4th of July in 2027. They'll take on the Wichita Turbo Tubs, better known as the Wind Surge, for the Independence Day matchup. Another schedule highlight is that they'll close the home season against the Tulsa Drillers, the AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and they've got a deep farm system with some of the game's top prospects. It'll be a treat to see them.
