What Is Going On With The Texas Reddit Page?

I'll be honest, I love looking over the Texas Reddit page and scrolling through it. I have read about some of the wildest stories on there, and also found people with similar interests as me.

However, these days the Texas Reddit page is an absolute mess in my mind.

What would provoke me to say such a thing? Let's put it this way, if you didn't know it was political season, stop by the page and you'll find out quickly that it is.

I sat on the page for a good five minutes just scrolling through it. I was looking for those wild and crazy stories I could bring to you. I mean, if they made me laugh or put a smile on my face, I try to channel that energy to you.

However, after five minutes I simply gave up. I didn't see ONE story that wasn't so overly politically charged it disappointed me.

Yes, I understand many people love to discuss politics, and I know the foot soldiers for campaigns are out and about. It just blew me away with how much the page has become nothing but a political battleground.

This is hands down one of the most heated elections for President that we've seen in a long time, and there is a TON of chatter going on. People want to get their voice out there and they should. I'm not against this.

I'm just asking if there is any way we could potentially move all this to a sub-Reddit that is all about politics so we can get the wild and crazy stories back. There's a lot more going on in Texas than just politics.
