What’s New at The Lumberyard in Canyon

One of the newest additions to Canyon, Texas, is a great venue and restaurant. It’s the perfect spot to grab a great meal and enjoy live music or concerts. The Lumberyard is this amazing place.

The restaurant opened in March 2025, with the concert venue opening the year prior in May 2024. With that, they have had their share of growing pains, but overall, it is such an amazing addition to the City of Canyon and the Texas Panhandle, for that matter.

The Lumberyard recently announced several changes to the restaurant, so some things might be a little different the next time you stop to grab a meal. The Lumberyard listened to the feedback of its customers and made a few changes.

The first change made was a schedule tweak for the restaurant.  Some hours have changed.

Updated Hours for The Lumberyard Restaurant

• Monday - Closed
• Tuesday  &  Wednesday - 4 pm - 10 pm
• Thursday - 11 am - 10 pm
• Friday & Saturday - 11 am - 11 pm
• Sunday - 11 am - 9 pm

Affordable Menu Additions and Entree Combos

Not only have the hours changed, but they have also listened and made the menu more affordable. Instead of having all à la carte menu items, you can now get a side item of your choice with your entree included in the price.

Enjoy the Beer Wall and Patio Vibes

Plus, while it's still warm, you need to go and check out their amazing patio and enjoy their beer wall; there’s one inside and another on the patio. The beer wall is a serve yourself type of setup, which is pretty cool.
