The Curious Loft Closure and the Building’s Reputation
At the end of 2024, Amarillo saw a quaint furniture store, The Curious Loft, close its doors due to the owners' relocation. The closing of this store left the building empty once again, adding to the curse of the location.

All About Mu Lan Coming to Amarillo
A new Asian fusion and sushi restaurant is opening in this location. According to the banner on the outside of the building, the restaurant will be called Mu Lan.
Who Owns the Space and Local Ties
According to PRAD.org, White Stone, LLC owns the building, and further digging shows the owner is based in Midland and also owns Sushi Nami in Lubbock, Texas.
Why Mu Lan Could Succeed in This Amarillo Spot
With outstanding reviews for Sushi Nami, Mu Lan looks poised to be a win for Amarillo. Hopefully, Mu Lan will break the curse of this building.
