At the end of 2024, Amarillo saw a quaint furniture store, The Curious Loft, close its doors due to the owners' relocation. The closing of this store left the building empty once again, adding to the curse of the location.

A new Asian fusion and sushi restaurant is opening in this location. According to the banner on the outside of the building, the restaurant will be called Mu Lan.

Who Owns the Space and Local Ties

According to PRAD.org, White Stone, LLC owns the building, and further digging shows the owner is based in Midland and also owns Sushi Nami in Lubbock, Texas.
