One of the best things to do in Amarillo, TX., especially on a Sunday is to round up your loved ones and head out to a good brunch. It's something you hear people constantly talking about and there's always debate as to where the best brunch is.

Well, we don't want to be the ones to decide on THE best, that's subjective. However, we will give you five places that seem to be constantly mentioned as a great brunch.

BUTTERLOVE BISCUITS

Tucked away off Bell & 34th, Butterlove is one of those hidden gem types of places that should get way more love than they seem to get. With over 20 different types of biscuits, there's surely something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.

Part of brunch is those different types of drinks you can enjoy, and Butterlove has some interesting options for you to choose from, including an alcohol-infused cold brew. That seems like the perfect brunch drink.

CASK & CORK

One thing I love about Cask & Cork is the patio area they have upstairs. Nothing screams brunch like sitting outside while enjoying a solid eggs benedict. If you're looking for something a bit more off the wall, Cask & Cork has unique menu items like smoked salmon flatbread.

Drinks? They've got you covered with a full bar, so any drink you can think of is at your disposal. It's brunch, so maybe partake in one of the many different types of mimosas they offer.

METROPOLITAN

A big part of brunch is making sure you can have those alcoholic drinks that don't make you feel like you're drinking alcohol too early in the day. That's where Metropolitan comes in. They have all your classic brunch drinks, but they're re-imagined and add different twists you wouldn't expect.

Of course, they serve up food here as well for brunch, but if you're going to the Metropolitan for brunch, it's more likely it's for the drinks.

PUBLIC HOUSE

Public House is your spot if you want a place that will give you a mixture of classic-style brunch and some twists and turns. The menu offers up all the favorites such as omelets, French toast, etc., but they've also got a couple of spins on your favorites. Give the chicken fried steak and eggs a shot, you won't regret it.

Public House is known for its signature bloody mary, which is a classic brunch drink. They do offer up a sangria though, and it's to die for.

SIX CAR PUB & BREWERY

Six Car is one of those Amarillo gems downtown. Rooftop seating, indoor seating, and a perfect brunch menu if you aren't the exploring type when it comes to your food. All the brunch classics are found here, and they do it right. They even have a grilled PB&J with homemade peanut butter and jam. Yes, they make it all right there in-house.

It's more than just beer at brunch here when it comes to drinks. Mimosas are on display, as well as house-made micheladas that you must indulge in.
