I'm sure most of us have said at some point in our lives, 'when I win the lotto I'm buying a mansion. When I'm rich, I'm going to build my family a ginormous home!' Trust me, I get it but have you ever thought about the where? Where would you build your big, beautiful new home if you suddenly came into money? With a ton of money does it even matter?

Heck, I can't even honestly say I know the answer to that question. So in order to help us all out for when that day comes, I decided to look up where some of the richest people in Texas live.

WHERE DO SOME OF THE RICHEST PEOPLE IN TEXAS CALL HOME?

According to Chron.com,

the two cities that have a double-digit presence on the billionaires list are Dallas and Houston.

There's a report that Dallas has over 3,400 millionaires, 211 centi-millionaires (a person whose wealth amounts to $100 million) and 18 billionaires.

In Houston, Texas there are over 120,000 millionaire households.

Notable wealthy celebrities who call Dallas, TX home include Mark Cuban, Michael Dell (founder of Dell Computers), Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, and Alice Walton, heir to the Walmart fortune.

Something to keep in mind when you make your millions and decided you want to live in the Dallas area, the average median home price is $399,000 while Houston is $340,000 although I suppose when you've got money to burn that doesn't necessarily matter.
