We all know it’s been a tough year for a lot of people thanks to COVID-19. Millions of people lost their jobs (myself included) thanks to the pandemic. Stupid little virus. But there's good news on the horizon: with state reopened, the economy is gathering speed and there's jobs popping up left and right.

Employers are in short supply of good workers and they need all hands on deck. So if you've been one of the unlucky ones job-wise, get your interview clothes out! These job fairs are coming to the Amarillo area and they want to get you back to work!

Valley Protein Job Fair

Valley Protein Inc., has partnered with the Workforce Solutions Center to host an in-person job fair from 9am-2pm on Wednesday, April 14 and Thursday, April 15. The company will be seeking to fill at least five different positions in its facility.

The job event will be held at the Workforce Solutions Center's new location at 3120 Eddy St. So make sure you dress to impress have your resume handy, and come out either one of those days to get into your next career.

Caviness Job Fair

Caviness Meat Packers is looking to hire some hard workers for multiple positions on Saturday, April 17^th from 10a-2p. Open positions in Production, Shipping & Receiving, Janitorial & Housekeeping, office & clerical jobs and many more wi8ll be interviewed for at this job fair! Virtual Job Fair

This year's Spring Amarillo Job Fair will be going virtual this year. Hosted by the Workforce Solutions Panhandle, there will be over 50 employers looking to fill positions. There's bound to be something for everyone.

The Virtual Job fair will be a 2 hour event held on Tuesday, April 20^th from 10a-12p. Important note: You’ll need to register online to get yourself in the virtual “door”.
