Like Bowling? Then Let’s Bowl For Kids Sake!

I'm not gonna sit here and say I'm this incredible bowler, ok? I'm an average weekend bowler at that...more like a decent social bowler. I get pretty pumped if I can crack 130 on the scoreboard or if I get the infamous turkey (3 strikes in a row). That, coupled with a few adult beverages of course, makes my day when I hit the lanes. What I enjoy the most though is bowling with my kids, and now we can ALL Bowl For Kids Sake!

Big Brothers Big Sisters has teamed up with CNS Pantex to come out for a day of bowling to benefit the Big Brother Big Sisters programs here in Amarillo. I didn't go to Big Brothers Big Sisters or participate as a kid, but I have as an adult and it's an AWESOME program for those of you who don't know. They provide such a great service for so many kids, and they need our help.

Their goal is to raise $70,000 for the program to help keep it moving and I think they can get to that easily with our help. The event is happening at Western Bowl this Saturday, May 1. It costs $120 for a team of 4 to enter and it'll run you an additional $30 per person for teams up to 6. You can even select what time you want to bowl, 5:30pm or 7:45pm. You must be registered by TOMORROW, April 29th so you need to hurry! You can also participate in their raffle at panhandlebigs.org if you can't make it or just want to help out more.
