Say It Ain’t So! The End Of Another Great Amarillo Restaurant!

Not the news I wanted to see yesterday evening. Gone without warning. Heck I saw some posts earlier about them not answering their phones over the weekend.

Heck they were always busy. I watched on Amarillo Texas Restaurant Review page how many people loved them. The news though was grim!

Hi Everyone, sorry this has taken so long but my Husband and I had to have time to discuss what we truly wanted to do, We have decided to take another path in life, away from the Restaurant business. Don’t get me wrong, this was a fun and wild ride! Although we are VERY HAPPY with the decision we have made! It will give us time to spend with our precious family, and do things that we love! I want to thank all of our loyal customers and I also want to thank all of our loyal employees! We will miss them very much. They were, and ARE, the best we could have ever asked for! And we are thankful to God that we had them, and all of you! God Bless everyone and much Love as always! Rockstar Crew~~

If you were, like me a fan of Rockstar Pizza on Washington....well they are done! They ran a great business and had really fresh and delicious pizza's. I have tried several and never had a bad one.

The jalapeono popper had to be my favorite! I ordered it a few times! Jalapenos are good and oh the cream cheese. I had dreams about this pizza.

How about this chicken enchilada pizza. I mean really I am sad! I am! I have been in denial since I saw the post! When owner Jessica was asked about when they were going to close....unfortunately the answer was not one for those of us that wanted one last Rockstar Pizza.

Running a restaurant is tough. I get it! I also get the wanting more time with your family. I do. I feel bad for the employee's who are without a job. Oh and us customer's who just loved their made from fresh pizza's. They were only open about a year....but they made a lasting impact!

Help me in mourning another great restaurant gone to soon here in Amarillo!
