Amarillo has the biggest hearts. We found that out during our Help 4 the Holidays drive recently. We keep giving and giving. Why? Well, it's Christmas time and we really care about the kiddos. We want them to have a gift that they can call their own.

Amarillo has a lot going for it. We have people from the area who has made it as actors, actors, and even sports heroes. It's always great to see Amarillo being mentioned for the good it brings and not just the bad.

When you think about Ziggy Hood you think about all the great things he has done. You think about him starting off here in Amarillo. You think about his days at Palo Duro High School. Oh but he was one of those that moved on. He never forgot about his start and his hometown of Amarillo.

Amarillo police have arrested a former Travis Middle School teacher for accusations of sex abuse involving one of his former eighth grade students.

The story has been circulating Facebook and the Amarillo Police Department have issued a statement concerning shots fired near Palo Duro High School.

Palo Duro High School was placed under lockdown due to an unspecified event according to the Amarillo Police Department.
