Cars 3 is a thing I keep forgetting is happening. It isn’t exactly a Pixar sequel people are dying to see – does anyone who’s not an eight-year-old actually love the Cars movies? Either way, the new film is still on the way and today Disney has announced three new voice actors joining the cast with new character photos.

To kids, Cars is a signature Pixar franchise, known for that little red race car, Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson). To older Pixar fans, Cars is known as Pixar’s red-headed stepchild, well below the rest of the venerable animation studio’s output. Cars was never particularly well-liked in the first place and then along came Cars 2 which was wild and weird and not particularly great (although the movie is so wild and weird it’s kind of interesting).

Now that Disney has gobbled up everything that's important to you and your childhood, they're going to start doing what any corporation worth its salt would do: start squeezing every single possible dollar out of your bank account until your wallet cries uncle. The first step in their recent wave of corporate synergy was giving the 'Star Wars' comic license back to Marvel. Step two is an even bigg

The 'Toy Story' gang may have had a memorable cinematic farewell with the wonderful 'Toy Story 3,' but we're not done with Bonnie's (formerly Andy's) toys quite yet! The Woody, Buzz and the rest of the group are going to make their television debut with 'Toy Story of Terror,' a made-for-TV Halloween special that will attempt to bring some of that Pixar magic to the small screen. The first two prom

‘Monsters University’ Website Gets Hijacked For April Fool’s Day
April Fool's Day on the internet is generally a headache -- site post fake stories, communities pull pranks and everyone is generally miserable because most of the posts aren't done by professional comedians and sometimes those fake posts get taken seriously. However, some people know how to make their April Fool's shenanigans fun and clever instead of irritating and we can now include the marketi

With college football bowl games happening now, Pixar has made an ad for their college-themed film 'Monsters University' and unleashed it during the games. It's the sort of clever ad that gives hope that the prequel to 'Monsters, Inc.' has a couple tricks up its sleeve.

NASA revealed their new spacesuit - the Z-1 Prototype Spacesuit and Portable Life Support System (PLSS) 2.0 - and we can't help but think this new outfit was inspired by 'Toy Story's' own Buzz Lightyear. Are our astronauts headed to infinity and beyond?

Balloonist Recreates ‘Up’ in Real Life
In the tear-jerker animated film 'Up,' a home is lifted into the sky by a cluster of party balloons.  While it all looks great in Pixar's beautiful animated style, it doesn't seem like it would be something you could pull off in real life. But, in fact, cluster ballooning is a thing, and Jonathan Trappe may well be the world's leading cluster balloonist.

‘Up’-Themed Birthday Party Is Whimsically Adorable
It's really the little things that make Carl from the Pixar movie 'Up' the perfect party costume -- the tennis balls on that PVC pipe walker are not only functional, they're also accurate. Okay, *technically* the tennis balls should be on a cane, but what are you going to do, fill a kid up on cake then give him essentially a big stick to swing around? That's a surefire way to ruin the cutest party
