The missing child, which prompted the Amber Alert earlier this morning, has been located. According to the Amarillo Police Department:

***UPDATE CHILD HAS BEEN LOCATED***

APD Officers located Jamila Franklin and Aliyah Moore in the 2300 block of S. Taylor. The child is unharmed and the investigation into the disappearance is ongoing.

An amber alert has been issued for 3-month old Jamila Franklin. According to the Amarillo Police Department:

Jamila Franklin, a 3 month old female, was left in the custody of Aliyah Moore, a 24 year old female, around 3:00 PM on October 2nd. When the parents returned, Aliyah and Jamila were both missing. Jamila is believed to possibly be in danger. Moore is known to frequent motels along Amarillo Boulevard and was last seen with a black male who was driving a red Ford F-150.
