Prior to the airing of the NBC program Celebrity Apprentice, we reported that Motley Crue singer Vince Neil had raised over $200,000 for his charity, Keep Memory Alive. With the latest episode of the reality show competition, the news got even sweeter for Neil as his team came away with a major victory, nearly quadrupling the aforementioned total.

After being sent to Team Prima in an attempt to mix up the level of competition after the all-male team nabbed four of five victories, Neil took charge as project manager for the first time after informing his partners he had already lined up $200,000 in funding. Tasked with developing and selling a new candy for philanthropist Warren Buffet's See's Candy, there was an extra fire under both teams as Buffet was announced as the judge of a taste test as well.

In total, Team Prima raised $378,535, good enough to edge out the opposing team, Team Arete, led by former NFL running back Ricky Williams, which came close with $365,745. As for the development of the new candy, Neil's team was awarded $25,000 for winning the taste test. The prize for the win was not only a donation to the Keep Memory Alive charity for the funds raised by Neil's team, but the total from both competitors, adding up to more than $750,000.

The Keep Memory Alive foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to "improving the lives of patients and their families as they navigate the extraordinary challenges of brain disorders." The charity aims to raise awareness and funds to treat patients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease frontotemporal dementia and multiple sclerosis.
