When it comes to the extreme winds and the damage on Wednesday, we are not alone in the Texas panhandle. State Police in New Mexico are reporting a train derailment partially to blame on the high winds. 26 cars toppled over while crossing the rail bridge along SR 469 outside of Logan. Luckily, no injuries have been reported.

Strong winds are forecasted through Wednesday night across the Texas panhandle and parts of the Southwest. Blizzard warnings continue for the upper Midwest and parts of the Rockies.
