In an effort to thank the first responders who live and work in the Texas Panhandle, Wonderland Park will host three First Responders Nights in June on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, June 7th - 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 8th - 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 9th - 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

To participate, first responders will present proper ID and a special barcode at the gate and will then be given a free WOW Ride Pass. Their families will enjoy discounted WOW Passes by presenting a second special barcode at the gate.

These discount codes are sent directly to participating agencies. Agencies that would like to participate can do so by visiting WonderlandPark.com/FirstResponders and filling out the proper form.

According to a statement from the amusement park, Wonderland hosts this yearly event to pay homage to police officers, firefighters and emergency responders who serve the panhandle region on a daily basis by inviting them out for a fun-filled night.

The public is encouraged to come out on any of these evenings to visit with these important members of our community and thank them for the impact they make in our daily lives. If all else, coming out on these dates are a great way to show your support for the first responders of our area.

Our firefighters, police officers, and emergency workers are the backbone of the Texas Panhandle and this is just one way to honor the important role they perform in our day-to-day operations.
