I feel it is not a stretch to think almost everyone here in Amarillo has dreamed of being a big star. We all pretty much have had that dream that if we just had that chance we would be discovered. We would take over Hollywood. We just need the opportunity.

That opportunity was here over the weekend. That is the great thing about having parts of Yellowstone's series shot nearby. That is the great thing about having the Four Sixes ranch so close. Not only do we have celebrity sightings like we have with Sam Elliot, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill to name a few, but we also have the chance to be part of the action.

Recently they were looking for help on the set. They were in Amarillo this past weekend. They will be shooting in Pampa today. There is a great Facebook page to follow so that you are always in the know.

They did their actual filming in front of the Barfield on Polk Street. I kept looking for encounters with celebrities around town. Usually, when they make it to town we hear all about it. There was not a lot of chatter this weekend except for the filming.

The folks of Yellowstone took to Downtown Amarillo. They used the Amarillo Civic Center parking lot for base camp. There were signs and vehicles all over. There were not any celebrity sightings like we had hoped and have experienced in the past.

We will just have to watch the final season of Yellowstone to see if and when downtown Amarillo will be shown. We will have to keep an eye out for anyone that we might recognize as well.

Where the Cast of 'Yellowstone' Would Be From If They Lived in TEXAS

Suppose the characters of 'Yellowstone' were all Texas natives..What town do you think they'd be from?

Well, Therese from Crown B Ranch took a stab at this fun "what if" game and the results are hilarious.

Agree or disagree, you have to admit that this is one heck of a fun debate to have with fellow Yellowstone fans.
