The Festival of Trees is happening now. It's a chance for you to get a beautiful Christmas tree, and help out with a great cause.

The Festival of Trees is today (Dec 4) and tomorrow (Dec 5). It will end at 7 PM tomorrow evening.

The way it works, is that you and your family can go see all of the trees that were decorated by 21 organizations. According to the event page, there is enough space to keep social distancing, and there's a seek and find activity.

Once you're done looking at the trees, you then go online to bid on the tree you want in their online auction.

According to the event page, the proceeds will benefit Panhandle Community Services. It will help them continue their work "walking families out of poverty" in the Texas panhandle.

This year has been a tough one, for everyone. That includes area non-profit organizations. Events like this are a great way to help out. It gives you something to do with the family, while staying safe, and it helps a worthy cause.
