
Amarillo Fire Department Quickly Extinguishes Fire, Saves Breakfast Time
When you fight fires with the Amarillo Fire Department, sometimes you have to get up early.
There was a house fire early Wednesday morning in the 2500 block of South Wilson. AFD crews were called around 4:$5am.
The Amarillo Fire Department made quick work extinguishing the blaze, getting the conflagration under control by 5:20am. Thankfully the house was abandoned and there were no reports of injuries.
Residents from a neighboring home have been relocated the keep them safe for the unstable fire scene.
The fire is under investigation by the Amarillo Fire Marshal.
