Borger Bulldogs at Palo Duro Dons

Week 4 of UIL high school football started Thursday night with the Bulldogs taking on the Dons at Dick Bivins Stadium. And the Dons secure their fourth straight win 34-13. This is the first time they have won 4 straight games since 2001. The Dons now sit at 4-0 while the Bulldogs are now 1-3. The big play of the game was the Dons Defense which held the Bulldogs in the second half a total of 40 yards and 3 first downs. Next week the Dons take on the 3-1 Tascosa Rebels Thursday night at Dick Bivins Stadium.

Frenship Tigers at Amarillo Sandies

The next game to be played at Dick Bivins Stadium was undefeated 3-0 Tigers taking on the 2-1 Sandies and this game was a big upset as the Sandies beat the Tigers 31-14. The big play of the game was #22 Ethan Cowan 52 yard touchdown run. Next week the Sandies take on the 1-3 Caprock Longhorns Friday night at Dick Bivins Stadium

Caprock Longhorns at Canyon Eagles

The Longhorns headed down to Canyon to play the Eagles at Happy State Bank Stadium and was a close battle to the end but the Eagles beat the Longhorns 30-20. The Big play of the game was the 61 yard touchdown run by #5 Dario Bressler. Next week the Eagles head down to midland to take on the 2-1 Greenwood Rangers Friday night at J.M. King Memorial Stadium.

San Angelo Central Bobcats at Tascosa Rebels

The Bobcats and Rebels played at Buffalo Stadium in Canyon And this game was a close game but after half time the Rebels came out firing on all cylinders and beat the Bobcats 46-28. The Big play of the Game was the 69 yard touchdown return by #16 Major Everhart within the first 30 seconds of the game. Next week the 3-1 Rebels take on the undefeated 4-0 Palo Duro Dons Thursday night at Dick Bivins Stadium.

Randall Raiders at Pampa Harvesters

The Raiders headed down to Harvester Field in Pampa to take on the 2-1 Harvesters and the game was a battle to the finish but ultimately the Harvesters beat the Raiders 29-28.The Big play of the game was from the Raiders Quarterback #10 Braxton Burd who ran 58 yards for a touchdown. Next week the Raiders head down to Dumas to take on the 2-1 Dumas Demons Friday night at Demon Stadium. While the Harvesters take on the 1-3 Levelland Lobos at home Friday night.

Lamesa Golden Tornadoes at River Road Wildcats

The Golden Tornadoes headed to Wildcat Stadium to take on the 1-2 Wildcats Friday night and this game was a shutout as the Wildcats beat the Golden Tornadoes 41-18.The Big play of the game was #52 Jordan Avina Pick 6 in the 3rd Quarter. The now 2-2 Wildcats take on the 1-3 Sanford-Fritch Eagles at Wildcat Stadium Friday night.

Dumas Demons at Plainview Bulldogs

The Demons Headed to Plainview to take on the 1-3 Bulldogs at Greg Sherwood Memorial Stadium Friday night and shutout the Bulldogs 48-14. The big play of the game was #8 James Bednorz 43 yard touchdown run. Next week the Demons take on the 2-2 Raiders at home Friday night.

Stratford Elks at Bushland Falcons

The undefeated Elks headed to Bushland to take on the 1-2 Falcons and this was a battle to the finish at Falcon Stadium but the Falcons pulled the upset and beat the Elks 14-21. The big play of the game was the Falcons Defense as they stop the Elks and got a turn over with 35 seconds left in the 4th Quarter. The Falcons take on the 1-3 Perryton Rangers at Falcon Stadium Friday night.

The two places you can listen to the games is Texas Panhandle Sports Network or you can listen to the game of the week which will be aired on our sister station 101.9 the bull (KATP-FM). And the game of the week for week 5 is the Randall Raiders at Dumas Demons. The coin toss pregame show starts at 6:30pm with kick off being at 7pm Friday night.
