It's one of the most momentous moments in a child's life. The day they're no longer forced to attend school if they don't want to.

I'm talking about graduation day. A day full of memories and moving on. A day you wait 17-18 years for.

Then that day comes, and Mother Nature makes you wait juuuuuust a bit longer to call it a day.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to the grads of Tascosa High School last night. They were to be the first graduating class in Amarillo for 2022, and rain came in and completely ruined the party.

So what do you do when graduation gets canceled? Well, obviously you reschedule. That's what Tascosa has had to do, and now there's a plan in place for everyone that's getting set to walk that stage.

Tascosa was rescheduled to Tuesday morning from 10am to 12pm. What happens if they get delayed again is going to create an even bigger issue.

All schools in AISD now have backup dates in case inclement weather decides to ruin another graduation day. Below you will find the original and alternate dates for all schools in those two districts. All AISD graduations are to take place at Dick Bivins Stadium.
