Bob Dylan Is Coming To Amarillo And We’re Sending You To See Him
He is one of the most celebrated songwriters in American history. Bob Dylan's music is timeless.
Even if you aren't a fan of Dylan's own recordings, you still love his music. Jimi Hendrix covered Dylan when he recorded "All Along the Watchtower." Eric Clapton and Guns N Roses covered Dylan when they recorded their versions of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door."
Bob Dylan will be coming to Amarillo on June 24, 2020, to perform at the Amarillo Civic Center Auditorium. He's not alone. Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats will be coming with him.
We want to send you to see them. Be tuned in to Thunder 98.7 for your chance to win a pair of tickets to one of the biggest music events to happen in Yellow City in a very, very long time.
It's hard to imagine what the set for Dylan would look like. He has such a massive catalog of iconic songs to choose from. I personally would love to hear "Subterranean Homesick Blues," "Maggie's Farm," "Hurricane," and of course you have to have "The Times They Are A-Changin" and "Like A Rolling Stone." "Tangled Up In Blue" would be another one. This could go on forever.
Nathaniel Rateliff has been a favorite of mine since the first time I landed ears on "S.O.B." Rateliff and the Night Sweats are impossible to not love. Their songs all get inside you and you can't help but sing along. They take all of the best parts of what made Rock and Roll great in the beginnings, and make it new and fresh again.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 13, 2020 at 12 PM.
