Did you Procrastinate? Best Places in Amarillo for Last Minute Christmas Shopping

I know that Christmas has a way of sneaking up on you.  I also know that procrastination and dread can sink in and you just don't want to shop. If you happen to wait until the last minute here are the places in Amarillo for your last minute Christmas shopping.

Westgate Mall

The mall will be open Christmas Eve until 6pm.  If there is something at the mall you need to buy, then you'll want to get there by 6pm.  That doesn't mean walk in at 5:55pm and expect to hit up 7 stores.

Target

If you're at the mall you can put Target on your second destination because they are open until 8pm on Christmas Eve.  Which is a good thing because you can pick up those last minute presents, and if you forgot a grocery item for Christmas dinner, they have their whole grocery section.

Walmart

Your one stop shop for everything imaginable, even a Christmas Tree, will be open until 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Cavender's

You just might need that last minute pair of boots, jeans or a cowboy hat,   Cavender's is open til 5pm.

Academy Sports and Outdoors

Don't worry you'll still be able to get your sports apparel, fishing pole or cooler.  Academy is open until 6pm.

Barnes and Noble

If you have that book lover who actually loves holding a book to read you can get your last minute Christmas Eve shopping done ant B&N until 6pm.

Best Buy

If you're looking for a TV, phone, laptop, appliance, Best Buy will be open until 7pm.

Big Lots

If you're really procrastinating, Big Lots is for you, they are open until 10pm.

Dollar General

Dollar General is open until 10pm on Christmas Eve, unless you go to the one by my house and your guess is as good as mine.  It just randomly closes when it feels like it, sometimes in the middle of the day.

Home Depot

If you have to buy for the DIYer you're in luck.  You have until 5pm on Christmas Eve to stop by Home Depot.

Lowe's

If you didn't quite make it by Home Depot before 5pm, Lowe's has your back, they are open at 6pm.

Old Navy

Shirts, Jeans, PJs, random items, you can still get them at Old Navy until 7pm.

PetSmart

Don't forget about your furry friends.  PetSmart will be open Christmas Eve until 6pm.

Petco

Petco wants to make sure your fur babies are taken care of also, so they will be open until 7pm.

Sam's Club

You know you need a thousand paper plates or some appetizers to tame the hungry beasts.  Sam's will be open until 6pm.

CVS

You can get your mile long receipt on Christmas Eve.  They are open regular hours.

Walgreen's

Well you're in luck, Walgreen's is open Christmas Eve for regular hours, and they are open Christmas Day.  So if you wait that long, you can stock up on gifts at Walgreen's Christmas Day.

If you missed closing time on all of these, well you may have to settle for truck stop and convenience store gifts.  When in doubt, go with lottery tickets, who knows, your loved ones might get lucky.
