I love checking these videos out. The older the better. This one I found it not old at all but it's still nice. It's one that I will keep in my files so I can watch how much Amarillo has changed over the years.

I really wish I had more than my memories of how the city looked back when I first moved here. We all have that vision in our heads of how the city was. The places we miss. The way things used to be. So these are good to have and to watch.

The only complaint about this one is that even though they drove over an hour around our beautiful city it seems that they missed a lot of it. Yes, they got downtown Amarillo. That is where the tour starts.

The tour itself is almost an hour and a half long. So they have plenty of time to see a lot of the city. It seems they hit a lot of red lights. So there is a lot of waiting for the next view.

They spend almost twenty minutes downtown before they take the Dumas Highway. Or so I thought they were going to do. Instead, they veered right and headed to the Buchanan exit and drove around some more.

Then they get on the Dumas Highway and you get a glimpse of Wonderland Park before they turn down 24th Ave.

The drive is just a view of our city. No sound. Just a way to sit back and watch. We get to enjoy Thompson Park. The north side is prominent in this video. A lot of places to check out.

Of course, the tour took us to Cadillac Ranch. I would be shocked if it didn't. We also took a drive-up I40. It was a nice trip. I feel that it could have gone longer. There was a lot of Amarillo that was missed.

I will keep watching for more tours to go on. They are rather peaceful. The only time that I can drive around Amarillo and not get mad at other drivers. Yes, it's true.

These Might Be the Most Dangerous Intersections in Amarillo

Traffic stinks.

These intersections stink harder.

Don't hesitate to sound off if we missed any. We're happy to add more Amarillo collision hotspots to this list of shame.
