Easter On The Go: Drive-Thru Easter Event Is Happening This Week

Get ready for egg inspired puns. Easter is upon us, and there are a lot of Easter events lined up in Amarillo. One of those is pretty unique in that it's a drive-thru event.

They're Calling It "Eggceptional Easter"

It's called EGGceptional Easter, and it's hosted by Exceptional Emergency Center in Amarillo on S. Western. It's April 1, and line-up starts at 3:30 PM.

There's a lot going on with the drive-thru Easter event; more than what I thought would be possible.

What To Expect

They're saying there will opportunities to have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny, a chance at winning a golden egg, and there will be free snacks.

Free snacks I can get behind. I'm not sure what a golden egg is or does, but I'm intrigued. Also, the fact that there's only three of them really makes me wonder just what exactly they are.

Easter Bunny photos creep me out. I have a hard time with things that don't blink.

Drive-Thru Events May Be The Way To Go This Year

There are a couple of big positives to having a drive-thru event. One, you don't have to find a parking space. You don't have to try and keep track of the kids as their running around.

Personally, the best part for me is that it sounds like it will be fairly quick. Show up, drive through, and then head home for dinner.

No real need to worry about masks or social distancing, since you'll be in the car.
