Ever Wanted To Ring The Bell? Salvation Army Looking For Volunteers.
Every year we see them, and every year it "rings" in the holiday season.
Come on, you know what I'm talking about. The Salvation Army Red Kettle Bells!!
We've all thought about it at one point. How much fun it would be to stand out there and ring that iconic bell. Well here's your chance!
The Salvation Army is currently looking for people who want to go out and volunteer a little time to ring in the holidays and good cheer. The chance to hear that change clink into the bottom of that red kettle starts with you.
There are 3 different types of ringers, so it's not just a one size fits all kind of deal.
The first bell ringer is exactly that. An individual that goes out by themselves, grabs the bell, throws on the red apron and rings that bell with fervor while eliciting an electric smile.
The next type of bell ringer is a group ringer. This is say a baseball team or your office at work banding together to either ring at different times in the same location, or several people out at different locations. This is what I like to call "maximized bell ringing". Everyone gets a piece of the fun.
The final bell ringer is a virtual bell ringer. Sure, you don't get to grab the iconic bell itself and ring, but you can post it up online or on your social pages and achieve the same goal as those in front of stores. Remember, no donation is too big or too small, and the virtual bell is a great way for those with little time to spare to still help.
If you want to jump in on the fun this year, you can sign up RIGHT HERE.
