Which Amarillo Restaurant Wins Your Letter? My Favorites From A to Z

The great thing about Amarillo is the choices we all have for dining. You can find just about every cuisine you can imagine here in the Yellow City. Yes, some aren't available, but luckily, you can find a restaurant on nearly every corner in this town.

How Many Restaurants Are in Amarillo?

According to the data website BeamStation, there are 665 restaurants (this includes food trucks and other food service sources) in the Amarillo area. If you ate at least two restaurants per day, you could eat at them all in one year.

That's the good and bad of so many restaurants. The hard part is narrowing them down to just 26, so instead of naming all my favorite restaurants within that 665 range, I've narrowed it down from A to Z. This is my personal list of the restaurants that I enjoy eating at. Some I eat at regularly, while others I eat at once in a while.

Which Letter Was the Hardest to Fill?

I will admit I did struggle with some of the letters because of their uniqueness. Take Z, for instance: if Zemer's Deli were still open in Amarillo, I would have put it in a heartbeat. Those sandwiches and their homemade dill pickles were the best.
