Hutson Property/Hutson Farm

In the small town of Dekalb, Texas, 40 miles west of Texarkana, is a property that the Hutson Family purchased in 1963.  The patriarch of the Hutson Family was a welder by trade but loved to work on and restore cars.  The Hudson was the car of choice for this dreamer.  Over the years this property became a sort of graveyard for cars.

Over 150 cars sat on this property.

Some were in the multiple barns, others among the trees, but all were to serve a purpose. This man's hobby was fixing and restoring old cars and passed the love of cars down to one of his sons.  The property was once home to over 36 Hudson vehicles.

The property is filled with cars and trucks of all makes and models. There's even an old bus and a bulldozer. These vehicles used to serve a purpose but have been sitting here for over 40 years. Some are so deeply buried in the brush that you'd never find them unless you knew where to look.

This property has become a sort of graveyard for these vintage cars and trucks.  After multiple deaths in the family, the remaining family and neighbors have been trying to clear off the land and find a place for these classic vehicles.

Maybe another collector who has dreams of restoring one of these beauties to their previous glory.
