
Amarillo’s Tascosa Belles Head to Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade
One Thanksgiving tradition is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Most people can't travel to NYC to see the parade, so they turn on their TVs and watch while they are cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. If it's not your tradition in Amarillo, Texas, then make it your tradition this year.
You may be asking yourself, "Why do I have to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year?" That answer is simple: a group of high schoolers will be representing the Yellow City this year.
Amarillo Will Be Represented in The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
The Tascosa Belles are heading to New York to represent Tascosa High School and Amarillo in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
According to the Tascosa High School Facebook page, the Belles left for New York City on Friday, November 21. They recently shared a picture on their Instagram after their practice.
Think back to when you were in high school and involved in your extracurricular activities. Being invited to something this huge is a very big deal. It's a chance for these girls to show off their skills to an audience of millions, all while representing Tascosa High School and Amarillo.

How to Watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in Amarillo
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, from 7:30 am to 11 am Central time. You can watch the parade on NBC or stream it on Peacock. If your streaming service, i.e., Hulu or Fubo, carries NBC, you will be able to watch it on their platform.
This isn't the first time the Tascosa Belles traveled to New York for the parade. They were invited to take part in 2022.
