My Favorite Places For Date Night

Now, I know I'm gonna come off like a bummer and I haven't been on a first date since I met my wife. So, this will be a bit of a compilation of places that I like to go on dates with my wife.

MOVIES Our favorite place to go on date night is probably the movies. UA Cinema near I-40 and Soncy, not the Hollywood 16 (not a fan of that theater). The last movie we went to see was Gnomeo and Juliet with the kiddo, so it wasn't really a date.

HOCKEY I am a HUGE hockey fan, so we have been to tons of Amarillo Gorillas and a few Amarillo Bulls hockey games. Every now and then we have actually been able to go with out the kiddo too, which makes it nice because then we can actually watch the game.

DINNER Dinner is a hard decision. There are so many places that we eat on a regular basis, so I will give two of our favorites. I really like Zen 721 downtown on Polk street and my wife loves Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse, so we never know where we are going to end up. While both places have great food, I am very partial to the atmosphere at Zen and they have the best "Beef Hot Rock".

KARAOKE Karaoke is one of my favorite things to do. Lot's fun and plus you get to laugh at people the entire night. We normally end up at Duke Tracy's although I admit that we haven't been out in quite a while.

DANCING My wife loves to dance and I enjoy going with her. She love's to go to Hoot's Pub and see the Electric Gypsies play when they are in town. She does the funniest dance that is one of the reasons I fell in love with her.
