Private Amarillo Go-Kart Track Hosting Professional Event

Something new comes to the area Saturday; professional go-kart racing.

Amarillo Kart Circuit, a privately owned track will host the fourth stop for The Texas Pro Kart Challenge this weekend.  It is the first professional go-kart race to be held at the track.

Featuring racers from 7 to 77, there are several classes of competition, with the adult class reaching speeds of up to 90 miles per hour.
