Ok, for most of us Labor Day is a nice chance to chill out and spend a little time with family but for folks in North Amarillo it's turned into a total and complete nightmare. Amarillo Police need help trying to find someone and they need help fast. There is a gentleman who made his way around town and so far it has cost one elderly driver her life and a teenager a trip to the hospital.

Here's What We Know

The Amarillo Police Have Released a timeline that in some cases incidents were within minutes of each other and the spree started early.

The first shots went out just after midnight on the 700 block of Heather and they actually injured a 17 year old boy who was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay. 30 minutes later the second rounds went out on the 1000 block of Eastern where the suspect pulled up to a 20 year old in a vehicle and opened fire. none of the bullets found the victim only damaging the car.

five minutes later at 12:41 a 48 year old woman was fired on while making her way on NE20th. only the vehicle took damage. From that point the suspect wasnt heard again from until 8:20 PM when a 57 year old lady was driving along the 6700 block of NE 19th street. Her car was hit but again no injuries. Things took a fatal turn at 9:21 when our suspect hit a 62 year old woman and killed her at NW 15th and Monroe which is also the first hit west of downtown.

Amarillo Police have very little to go on other than the suspect is driving a dark colored sedan with 4 doors and bright headlights. If you have any information or you know something reach out to the folks at Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
