One thing Amarillo is really good about is having all sorts of different types of events over the course of the year. Every month, you can typically find several things you can look forward to attending.

It also seems that each year an event is held, it's bigger and better than the last one. The city doesn't seem to rest on its laurels when it comes to the events they have. For example, the Children's Miracle Network Home Run Derby was typically always held at the Rick Klein Complex. This year? Come hit some home runs at HODGETOWN was the message.

Pretty cool if you ask me. Sadly we had something going on this year, or we would've been there with our two boys who play baseball. I mean, how many opportunities are they going to get to hop down on the field there and swing the stick?

Well get ready for another big event at HODGETOWN as Storybridge LIVE 2024 is set to invade the beautiful stadium. This is one of the biggest fundraising opportunities for the non-profit each year, and they're going all out this year.

Happening October 5th, the kiddos will get a chance to meet some of their favorite characters from the books they read, as well as get a chance to be introduced to new books and series they may not know about, but would enjoy.

There will be all sorts of things to do such as face painting, balloon artists ready to make whatever your child wants, free books, and so much more. Kids are even being encouraged to dress up as their favorite character to add to the fun.

All the info you could possibly want about the event can be found by clicking here. You'll want to bookmark this page as tickets will be available soon on it.
