As the weather is getting better and better the only thing we want to do is get outside. Here we are in May and finally the last couple of days finally we are seeing spring type weather. The weekend is here and we also want things to fill up our calendar.
As things are finally starting to happen we continue to look for things to occupy our time. I like an evening that can bring you food. That has to start any fun evening off. How about then adding a fun activity.
A friend of mine sent me a screenshot not too long ago of our good friend, Jason Collier. You know who I am talking about. He became the talk of the area because he got busted by several women he was dating all while married. Oh, and he was also the Chief of Police in Stinnett. He was....not anymore…
You have out of town friends coming to visit. What is one of the places they look to want to go visit? We have several places that need to be visited. We take them out to Palo Duro Canyon. If it is in season then how about checking out The Musical Drama Texas?
My daughter surprised me over the weekend and drove to Amarillo to see me for Mother’s Day. I was not expecting this at all. When she comes to town I like to take her grocery shopping so she has new recipes and plenty of meals when she goes home.
There is no more exciting time than right about now. The thoughts of getting done with another school year. The kiddos need this after all the changes they have learned to go through the last couple of years.
A few things we pride ourselves on here is Amarillo would have to be our friendliness and our places to eat. When someone is broke down on the side of the road I always see countless people stop to offer help. We are nice here. We are helpful. We also like to eat.
It's been a long few months and nobody knows it more that people who frequent the Chick-fil-A on Coulter. It's been a few months since they announced their closing for a remodel. It's something that they knew was the perfect time for it o happen.
Who isn't ready for a nice and tall glass of lemonade? Especially when that same glass of lemonade is helping teach so much to our kids. Lemonade Day in Amarillo is coming up on May 1st after taking the year off last year due to the pandemic.
One of the best things about growing up in Canyon and going to school there were some of the cool things they had to offer. Canyon does have some coolness factors. I mean there is only a short drive to Palo Duro Canyon.
I am pretty excited about this. Any time we have an announcement of a new restaurant here in Amarillo, I am all ears. We seem to do a pretty good job of supporting the places we have. What can I say we like to go out to eat a lot here in Amarillo.
