When I became a Mimi a few years ago one of the things I forgot was how expensive babies are. They need so much. How could something so little and cute need so many things to help them on a daily basis? It's crazy.

We were in a bind because we found out about our little bundle of joy six months into it. So we had three months to get everything done when most new moms have closer to nine months. We were in a panic. Luckily that is when we discovered the Just Between Friends Sale.

If you haven't checked out the sale yourself you really are missing out. Oh, and paying entirely too much for things that your children need. We have made so many great purchases and we have gone to every single one since.

There are three days of sales open to the public. You can get free tickets online or pay just three dollars at the door. They do have a preview sale before the public sales begin. So if you want a head start there is your chance. You have to purchase those tickets. Then they wrap it all up with a half-price sale on the last day.

So here we are ready to buy all of those things that your friends and neighbors have used and are now passing on with savings. It's the smart way to shop. They have things for babies and toys, clothes, books, and other stuff for kids of all ages. You never know what you are going to find.

The sale is happening this week at the Amarillo Civic Center. The preview sale is on Wednesday. The sale for the public is Thursday - Saturday. Oh, and just so you know if you go on Thursday you may want to pop in again because they do have more items dropped off and put on the floor.
