A Short Texas Panhandle Drive to Experience Fall This Weekend
The temperatures are finally starting to feel a little more fall-like here in Amarillo. After many record-breaking hot days in the Panhandle, it is nice to see the cooler temperatures. It is finally going to be great to celebrate all of those fall activities.
One of the events that the Texas Panhandle looks forward to every year is the beauty that you can experience this time of year in Canadian, Texas. Just a short drive to Canadian will give you all the fall feels. It's worth the less than two-hour drive.
This weekend is the perfect time to head on over. They are hosting their Fall Foliage Festival on October 19th and 20th. Nothing is more beautiful than seeing Canadian all decked out for the season.
The leaves are a changing and here is your chance to experience it firsthand. Canadian, TX, has taken to social media to let us know they are ready:
February may have brought fires, but Canadian is open, and the foliage will be worth the drive. Bring the family, explore the local shops, enjoy delicious food, and experience the magic of fall like never before.
There are two full days of events. There are tours, food, and even cornhole tournaments. So there will be plenty of things to do for anyone in your group.
As you are making your weekend plans don't forget about putting Canadian, TX, on the list. There is a lot to do and definitely a pretty view. Nothing screams autumn in the Texas Panhandle more than Canadian and their Fall Foliage Festival.
