After Long Wait Amarillo Restaurant Gets Grand Re-Opening Date

Amarillo has had quite a few restaurants that have closed this year. So when Amarillo gets some news about one that closed at the end of last year and it's possibly reopening we take notice. We like a comeback. We like a Cinderella story. Especially when it is a restaurant we really have grown to like.

It was November of last year when Beef O'Brady's at 34th and Coulter had a lock on their door. This lock was not to keep the customers out when they were closed. No, this lock was there to keep the owners out. They were behind on bills. We hated to see this be the end of Beef O'Brady's especially when there were so many great memories there.

Unfortunately, those of us watching the past several months were not surprised when the lockout came and the doors never reopened. It was sad but not a surprise. There was a lot going on behind the scenes there.

The good news is that there was a light at the end of that closed tunnel. We learned at the beginning of the summer that things were happening. We just had to wait and see what and when they would hopefully open their doors.

That day has come. The news is out. They are in fact opening. Yes, their new Facebook page was created earlier this summer as well. This was going to happen. Now according to their latest Facebook post, we know when they are going to reopen. Spoiler alert - it's happening soon.

One question that was asked on their page and answered was about their daily specials. Were they still going to have those daily specials? The answer was yes. They were going to continue. Now we just have to wait to see if they will be the same specials or if they will change them up.

I am curious as to their Pour Til a Score during football season. Was that coming back too? I guess only time will tell. I am just excited that this restaurant is making a comeback. There will once again be a place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  Once again the doors to Beef O' Brady's will open and we can't wait.
