Amarillo loves great finds. We love knowing that maybe we have found a piece of history, especially when it is Amarillo's history. That is something you can own a part of with an auction that is currently going on.

The auction in question is for the estate of Paul Engler who passed away this past spring in early May. With a passing like this, the family has to decide what to do with his belongings. An estate sale was decided on for Paul's belongings.

Paul Engler left a lot more behind than his belongings. In fact, you can find his name in plenty of places. He leaves his mark on the cattle industry. You can find his name on buildings and foundations. Paul Engler left a lot behind. The best part is you can take a look at some of his belongings and end up owning it yourself.

Double S Auction is hosting the auction which will end on July 20th at 1 pm. So that is coming up this Saturday. According to the auction site:

Engler Foundation.  This immaculate estate in Avondale/ Country Club area has fine jewelry, western art and a luxury car.  Paul Engler revolutionized the cattle industry in the world so take a peak at the estate of a man that changed his world for the better.  We are proud to bring you this estate and help the Foundation continue to help students with entrepreneurship.
