Amarillo Author Set to Host Local Book Signing
Amarillo is filled with talented people. We have musicians that come from this area. We also have actors and actresses. We are not limited to just that. We also have several authors who call Amarillo home.
Not bad at all. You can walk into the local Barnes and Noble or Burrowing Owl Books and find someone you know on the shelves. How cool is that? You can also scroll through Amazon to find them. It's so cool to find people you have known for years with so much talent, even beyond what you knew before.
I have known King Hill for probably a decade. We have bonded over the fact that we share a birthday. It's not a bad thing to bond over. I always knew he had so much talent. I mean come on. King is a playwright and stage director, an educator, and the media and marketing coordinator for the Lonestar Ballet, that says a lot.
If that is not enough, he is also an author. He wrote his first book back in 2022. Since then he has not stopped. Here we are in 2024 and in that time King Hill is up to book number three, Secrets Playing with Fire.
In this spellbinding mystery, Dax discovers secrets about his family that lead to a fast-paced series of discoveries about his father’s role as a combat engineer in WWII, Hitler, and much more.
In this fictionalized page-turner, the third in the Dax Trilogy, secrets, and life lessons bring all the action to an unexpected and surprising end.
This book finishes up the trilogy that started with both The Butterfly Decision and Under Patchouli Skies.
This third book wouldn't be complete without a book signing happening here in Amarillo. That is exactly what is going to be happening out at Roasters, 1818 S Georgia, this Saturday from 2 pm - 4 pm.
If you don't have your copy of the book yet, don't worry. They will have all three available. You can purchase them via cash, check, or Venmo.
This book is winding down the trilogy if you have read the other two you definitely don't want to miss the conclusion. If you hadn't this may be just the perfect way to start the weekend with some great reading.
