It has been a long time coming. It really has but for the first time in 2021 the Amarillo Bulls finally get to have a home game with fans in the stand. This is great news.

With our Covid numbers being high the Amarillo Civic Center made the decision to close their doors and with that a lot of events back in the fall of 2020. Finally the good news that our numbers have been down for several consecutive days so the announcement was made.

Yes, finally hockey is back in Amarillo and we can fill the seats in the Civic Center with screaming Amarillo Bulls fans. The rules are simple. If you are at the game you have to have a mask. You can take them off when you are in your seat eating and drinking. It seems reasonable.

Heck, anything to have the game back. Here are the good words from the Amarillo Civic Center yesterday:

We’ve missed you and can’t wait to welcome you back to the Amarillo Civic Center Complex again! Our first ticketed event is the Amarillo Bulls vs Shreveport Mudbugs this Friday and Saturday, 7 pm at the Coliseum. Get your tickets now at panhandletickets.com!

A friendly reminder, a face covering is required throughout the complex. Make sure you wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer often and practice social distancing by standing 6’ apart.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
