The Local Shops Filling the Gap

There are still places like Dollar Tree that can inflate your balloons. Earlier this year, we found out that The Local Wedge in Townsquare bought up the Party City inventory, and they started filling balloons. They will also fill up your balloons that you already have. That is a service they offer too.

Walgreens Steps In With Balloon Service

There is another business in town on a lot of Amarillo corners that has just started helium balloon filling. My daughter was recently at our Walgreens at 26th and Georgia when she told me the news. She noticed unicorn balloons, and that is my granddaughter's theme for her party in a couple of weeks.

That is when she discovered that they are now offering that service. They even have the sign outside letting us know that with the purchase of a balloon, you get the helium fill for free.

I went to the store myself to see the selection and to figure out if this is happening at this one location only, but it seems it's just a new thing that Walgreens is adding. It couldn't happen at a better time, as we still see many questions around birthday celebrations. I mean you have to have balloons.
